About

This is Frank. He's a 13-year-old Maltese and was our first ever baby.

As I embarked on this granola-making adventure, I had this guy, my loyal companion, by my side. He has been a faithful companion throughout the process and is truly-deserved of a place on this site...so that's why he's here, right up top.

Frank does NOT bake the granola. Keep reading below to find out about who does.

My Story

The Granola Maker began during lockdown, when I was seven months pregnant with my third child and spending far more time at home than expected.

My husband was searching for a fresher, better-tasting alternative to supermarket granola, so I headed into the kitchen to see if I could make something better.

It didn't take long to realise that many supermarket granolas were packed with sugar, unnecessary ingredients and fillers, and lacked the flavour and texture I was looking for. I wanted something made with simple, recognisable ingredients that actually tasted homemade.

So I created my own.

After countless batches, tweaks and taste tests, I finally perfected the recipe that would become The OG - still my bestselling granola today.

What began as a simple kitchen project has grown into a premium Irish granola brand, with products now stocked in carefully selected independent food stores, cafés and farm shops across Ireland, and featured by publications including VIP Magazine, STELLA and Dining in Dublin.

Everything is still hand-baked by me, using simple ingredients and the same care that went into those very first recipes. The aim has always been the same: to make granola that's fresh, delicious and something I would be proud to serve at my own kitchen table.

Whether you're looking for a better breakfast, a wholesome snack or a thoughtful gift, I hope you enjoy every packet as much as I enjoy baking it.

From my kitchen to yours,

Aifric
